Expected Release April 29 2014 Synopsis Iâm Dan Smith, and Iâm currently living two lives. Maybe even three if you really look into it. Haley, Allison, Hunter, Wade, Sergio, and Isla all exist in one or more of them somehow. Am I a supporting role in their stories, or are they merely characters in mine? You decide. Haley told her story. Now Iâll tell mine. She said. He said. This is my story. Warning: Some explicit language and sexual content. Note: This is the second book in a series and will be best-received if read after A is for Alpha Male. Secret Alpha is the companion novel to A is for Alpha Male. Pick up your copy today while it's only 99 Pennies! Buy A is for Alpha Male Amazon: http://amzn.to/1laC6hP Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/1imzcTs Excerpt Once again, Allison had no answer, but that didnât get Haley down at all. I could feel my feet start to walk in their direction, straight down the bar and stopping right in front of them, as though I was having an out of body experience. âAs far as loosening up, I meant alcohol.....Shot time!â Perfect. Cue me. She looked away from her mom right at that moment, honing in like a laser beam on my exact location. And then, looked right through me. Burn. âTwo shots of fireball, please,â Haley requested sweetly, but I could tell she didnât notice me at all. If anything, that made her even cuter. She was completely there, in that moment, with her mom. Clearly, they had a strong, close, vibrant relationship, and a respect that I hardly ever saw between people anymore. Living in such a technologically driven era, people rarely interacted with one another without an outside distraction like a cell phone going at the same time. Donât worry, Iâm not anti-technology, but I am pro-personal connection. The kind of camaraderie thatâs strong enough to hold a personâs entire interest. Itâs probably a lifetime lacking in close connections that drives my philosophical approach to conversational engagement, but I couldnât tell you for sure because Iâm not a psychologist. âYou got it, sweetheart,â I said, and then began thoroughly kicking my own ass for adding on a term of endearment. I seriously didnât know what the fuck was wrong with me. I didnât know what is was about this girl that had me tied in knots, and I didnât know why in the fuck I kept letting myself forget I was in the middle of a very serious, extremely dangerous investigation. There was probably a price on my head at that exact moment, for fuckâs sake. I pulled my lips back over my teeth immediately, putting away the dimples and effectively putting the kabash on my smile. But it didnât even matter because she still hadnât even really looked at me. In fact, another man, someone I wasnât familiar with, had just approached her and started flirting. He was a cocksucking dork, I could tell, but she flirted back. The really disgusting part is that I felt an immediate flare of fire in my belly, the edges of my flaming jealousy licking the lining of my stomach and burning me alive. Placing the shots on the bar in front of them, I redirected my mind and energy and moved to the other end of the bar, keen to do any other work I could come up with. But as I left, I allowed myself one last look, startling noticeably when Allisonâs keen blue eyes found mine and a knowing smile crept sweetly onto her face. Fuck. Me. Synopsis
When life crashes down around us, how hard are we willing to fight for the one thing we can’t live without, each other?
Life is full of moments.
Big moments.
Little moments.
And none of them are inconsequential.
Every single moment prepares you for that one instance that defines your life. You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything.
Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she’s worth the fight…but how do you fight for someone you know you don’t deserve?
Love is full of ups and downs.
Heart stopping highs.
Soul shattering lows.
And none of them are insignificant.
Love is a racecourse of unexpected twists and turns that must be negotiated. You have to break down walls, learn to trust, and heal from your past in order to win. But sometimes it’s the expected that’s the hardest to hold on to.
Colton has healed and completed me, stolen my heart, and made me realize our love’s not predictable nor perfect—it’s bent. And bent’s okay. But when outside factors put our relationship to the test, what lengths will I have to go to prove to him that he’s worth the fight?
Whoever said love is patient and love is kind, never met the two of us. We know our love is worth it—have acknowledged that we were meant to be—but when our pasts crash into our future, will the repercussions make us stronger or break us apart?
Review
So I am going to start at the end and work my way back to the start..
I don't think there could have been a better way to complete Colton and Rylee's story. Knowing how they started and how incomplete they both were to knowing how their story ends in the best possible way for them really helps you come to terms with the fact that this is the last book in the series.
Crashed picks up at the same point that Fueled ended and as in Driven and Fueled the connection between Rylee and Colton is something that cannot be denied. Colton is the same cocky, confident man except this time you start to see more of the romantic, loving man that he is and Rylee is still the protector of Colton and her boys at The House, she is still struggling with her past and events in this book really brings her past crashing down on her again and this is where you see Colton become the man we all knew he could be.
Haddie and Becks still have a strong presence in both Colton and Rylee's lives in this book and I am hoping with the few little hints dropped here and there that their story may be next on Kristy Bromberg's list I just love these two. And be prepared because Tawny is still a B!tch who needs to be put back in her place.
This trilogy had me laughing, crying (happy and sad tears), frustrated, screaming (in my head, not out load that would just be crazy) they are three books that have so much passion in the story that it just is impossible for me to understand why anyone would not love them. Defiantly one of the best series I have read, and will more than likely read again and again.
"Remember, life isn’t about how you survive the storm, but rather how you dance in the rain.”
“Relationships aren’t easy. They’re hard and can be brutal at times … but those are the times you learn the most about yourself. And when they’re right,” I pause, making sure his eyes are steadfast on mine, “they can be like coming home … finding the rest of your soul
“Remember, hurting is feeling and feeling is living, and isn’t it good to be alive?”
“It’s time to man the fuck up and realize you fucking love her too, before it’s too goddamn late and you lose the one person who’s made you whole again. Figure out how to deal with your past so you don’t lose your fucking future.”

This isn't a dark romance, nor is it a light fluffy one. It's broken, and captivating, and a story of two people putting themselves back together. It's a story of a broken man who found his way to heal with Thirteen Girls. It does not have a cliffhanger.
We're thirteen girls, captive to a man we rarely see.
Obedience will become all we know. It is the only emotion we're permitted to feel.
When we're bad, we're punished. When we're good, we're rewarded. Our scars run deep. Yet we survive, because we have to, because HE teaches us too.
All of us are special, we feel it with everything we are.
He has us for a reason, but it's a reason we don't know.
We've haven't seen his face, but we know that something deeply broken lies beneath the darkness. With every touch, with every punishment, we know it.
Then came the day he saved my life, and I saw him for the first time. He released something inside of me.
He showed me who he truly is.
Now I want him.
I'll go against Everything I know to be with him.
A monster.
My monster.
Loving him is a sin, but a sinner I am.
I won't stop until I see every part of him.
Even the parts he keeps locked deep down inside.
I am Number Thirteen, and this is my story.
