Title: Black Out Hawks MC Series, Book 3 Author: Lila Rose Available December 22, 2014 Cover Designer: Louisa at LM Creations Editor: Hot Tree Editing Synopsis At twenty-four, Clarinda James has lived a traumatic life. One of the last images she saw before losing her sight was that of her parents' death. The nightmares of that time still haunt her every night. Taken in at nineteen by her sister, Clary didn’t know there was going to be a price to pay, a price far greater than her blindness. It’s not until Blue walks into her life, she realises it’s possible to experience the joy of warmth. In her darkness, Blue will become her beacon, her guide. Little does she know that she’ll need to count on Blue more than she thought she would. She has to…if she wants to stay alive. Blue Skies is on the lookout for a woman. Always there to support his brothers, Talon and Griz, he’s not a stranger to the craziness of love or life. Nor is he a stranger to making it clear that comments surrounding his name are out of bounds. Despite the often effed-up situations his brothers find themselves in as a result of their women, he’s more than happy to settle down when he finds his missing piece. After three weeks of seeing a gorgeous redhead in a café, he refuses to let the opportunity pass him by. Building a tentative relationship with Clary is no easy task; she’s damaged. It’s not until he discovers the truth behind her darkness that he willing lays claim to her. He is determined to protect her, no matter the cost. She is irrefutably his. Excerpt “I have had my eyes on you for three damn Saturdays, waiting to catch your eye, waiting for you to get courage to come talk to me, but you haven’t. So now we do this my way.” “You’re way?” I asked on a whisper. “Yeah, Sugar,” he said softly, “My way.” Licking my suddenly dry lips I then said, “You sure are…” “Cocky? Great with words? Smart? Handsome?” Smiling I shook my head. “I wouldn’t know, I can’t see,” I told him and removed my sunglasses, blinking in his direction. He hissed, “Your eyes are damn beautiful like that.” Other Books in the Series About The Author I was born in Brisbane, Australia. My step-dad was in the Army, which caused us to move around a lot. We finally settled in country Victoria, Australia. I am the youngest of four children and I can say that I was spoilt a bit. I drove my mum crazy when I refused to eat meat at a young age. Now I live with my husband and two children, and I find myself regretting all the troubles I put my parents through because my monsters are just as picky as I was. I started writing in 2013 and self-published the first of the Hawks MC Club series Holding Out. The next to follow was something different, I wrote Senseless Attraction, a YA novel. Soon I was back to the Hawks series with number two Climbing Out. I have more to write in the series, but there will be also be more novels in the humorous erotica genre, like Left to Chance, which is out now. I’ve always wanted to know.” “You can’t have sex with my husband.” Jules frowns for a second, then a smile spreads over her gorgeous face. “Well, maybe you can.” “No,” Nate replies quietly, “she can’t. No offense, Alecia.” “None taken.” I grin at the crazy-hot man. “You’re hot as fuck, though.” “He really is,” Jules agrees happily. “And the apa…wow.” “Will you get one?” I ask Dominic, just as he takes a sip of wine, and he immediately chokes. “Fuck no.” “Maybe I’ll have to find someone with one,” I say thoughtfully. “Just to give it a try.” “That’s it.” Dominic stands with me in his arms and doesn’t even set me down as he begins to stalk out of the tent. “Where are we going?” I look over his shoulder and see the others laughing and watching us leave. I wave happily and they all wave back. They’re so friendly. “I’m going to teach you a lesson, tesoro.” “A lesson?” I giggle and bury my nose in his neck, breathing him in. “I’m kind of dizzy.” We pass by the barn. I can hear voices, heavy breathing and Meg giggling. “I think we found Meg and Will,” I whisper into Dom’s ear, as he hurries past. “Merde, I didn’t need to ever hear that,” Dominic grumbles, making me giggle more. He strides around the store building, where I stood a few hours ago with Jules and Natalie, sets me on my feet, and pins me against the wall. “I dare you,” he begins with fire in his bright blue eyes, “to say again that you’re going to go find another man to fuck.” “Um, it was a joke, babe.” His eyes narrow and his nostrils flare, and I know I’m in big trouble. “Are you jealous?” I ask incredulously. “Not usually,” he says. “I’m not the jealous type, but what’s mine is mine, Alecia. And you’re mine. What I have with you, I don’t want with anyone else. You’re all I fucking think about.” He’s gathering my skirt in his hands until it’s bunched around my waist, and he slips his finger inside the elastic of the crotch of my panties and brushes the lips of my pussy, making me gasp. “Dom!” “That’s right.” He bites my lower lip, then soothes it with his tongue and pushes his finger farther into my panties. “Me. I’m the only one who can touch you here, or anywhere. This is mine.” Giveaway And don’t forget the rest of the With Me in Seattle Series… COME AWAY WITH ME UNDER THE MISTLETOE WITH ME (Novella) FIGHT WITH ME PLAY WITH ME ROCK WITH ME SAFE WITH ME TIED WITH ME BREATHE WITH ME About The Author New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Kristen Proby is the author of the bestselling With Me In Seattle series. Purchase Links Excerpt A sound behind him and Alex’s quick glance in that direction caught his attention, making him swing his head over his shoulder to see what was going on. Holy crap. Who the fuck was this? Calder was pretty sure he’d met everyone currently in residence at the compound. But the vision in a skintight tank top and cropped workout pants that molded to a figure screaming, ‘watch out boys—here I come’ was new. And flat-out the sexiest thing he could ever remember seeing. The light streaming in from behind her obscured the details of her face, so he focused on everything else—from the ponytail swinging high on her head to an exposed neck that called to him and had him licking his lips in response. He could just make out the tilt of her chin that suggested she was used to being ogled by the opposite sex, but that sure as shit didn’t stop his visual inspection at all. She was standing with hands upon her waist, legs planted in a determined stance, and calves visible beneath the end of her stretch pants. Calder was a leg man. Nothing got him fired up quicker than a delectable set of stems. Eyes drifting downward, he noted delicate ankles atop a pair of sneakers that looked like they’d seen their fair share of use. Oh, yeah. And then there were her boobs. The tank top left little to the imagination, low enough in front to show a healthy amount of cleavage, and tight enough to make him painfully aware of how perfectly her tits would fit his big hands. Jesus. He was getting hard just looking at her, and he didn’t even know who she was. He heard Alex mutter, “Oh shit,” as he stepped away from the punching bag and scurried in the woman’s direction. “G’morning, Stephanie. This is a surprise,” his nephew muttered as he leaned in and kissed the woman on the cheek. No way, Calder’s mind screamed. No fucking way that this vision in skintight workout gear was the aging beauty queen he’d been imagining. Fuuuuuck. Not good. Not good at all. “Come for a workout, have you?” he heard Alex ask. For the briefest moment, the woman said nothing, and Calder had the distinct impression she was subjecting him to the same, slow appraisal he’d just thrown at her. Oh, my God, he marveled silently. Had he really just sucked in his gut? What in the fucking fuck? About The Author

Purchase Links Review I have been waiting for this books since I finished Incandescent in August and the wait was totally worth it. This book was amazaballs! Holly, smart, sassy, tough, supportive, caring and protective! Without spoiling Incandescent for those who haven't yet read book one (seriously why haven't you read it yet!!), but Holly suffered a horrible loss at the hands of Kaydence's ex fiance, not to mention horrible injuries. Physical recovery from her injuries was easy compared to recovering mentally. Battling crippling panic attacks Holly struggles to get her old life back. It's not until Sy forces himself into her life that she starts to come back to life. Sy (aka Sylas Dean), infuriating, rough, protective, total Alpha and so very sweet. This man was pissing me off in the beginning, but oh did I love him in the end. Hiding under all the pain from his past Sy, a past no one knows about . Sy is living with constant nightmares over a past he can't change and can't let go of. Knowing there is something in Holly that is so different from anyone else he is pulled towards her no matter how hard he tries to fight it. When Holly is injured and shuts him and everyone else out of her life, Sy makes it his mission to bring back the woman who starting him questioning everything he thought he wanted in his life. The story is so emotionally intense, with both characters suffering such horrible heartache and tragedy the story is bound to effect anyone who reads it on so many levels. It had me laughing with the Holly's smart and sassy mouth, to crying, to hot and bothered with their chemistry. The characters you meet at the beginning of the book grown and change so much throughout their journey that the books ends in the best way for them both and for the reader, I don't think I would have coped if there was a cliffhanger. River has an amazing writing talent, I can't wait for books 3 in 2015. Excerpt “What the fuck are you doing in my club?” he asks again, moving his body closer. “Your club?” I ask, raising my brow. “Last time I checked, I came here with my best friend, not to see you, so if you’ll excuse me,” I say, trying to push off the wall, but he steps right in, his knee coming between my legs. “You gonna fuck him?” he growls, his eyes growing angrier by the second. “Maybe,” I tell him, knowing he’s talking about Jesse. “I wonder if he will leave me standing naked after a quick fuck up against the wall,” I continue. His hold on me gets tighter. I know I shouldn’t tease him with my words, but he’s seriously delusional if he thinks he has any claim over me. “I knew you were a tease, but I didn’t know you wanted to be a club whore,” he replies, and I try not to let his words sting. “Are you done?” “Are you?” he counters. “You left me standing there. I didn’t fucking do anything. What are you so angry about?” “You coming into my club, throwing yourself at one of my brothers.” “Jeez, get over yourself, Sy. Jesse was just showing me around the place. And if I decide I want to have sex with him, or anyone else for that matter, I’ll do what I want. You don’t fucking own me. You had me, fine, but it was mediocre at best, so keep your hands off me,” I snap, trying to get out of his hold. “Mediocre?” he repeats back to me. I’m so pissed at his attitude I don’t falter in repeating it. “At best.” “Didn’t feel like that when your cunt was gripping my cock like a vice,” he throws back, his words causing my pussy to throb. “That’s called pelvic floor muscle exercises,” I say, ignoring my body’s response to having him so close. “Right,” he whispers, leaning further into me, “and what about when I dragged my tongue through that sweet pussy of yours, and lapped up your juices dripping from you?” he questions. It takes everything in me not to respond. “Now that I think about it, when you walked into my shop, all pissed off, you were walking like you had been fucked so hard. Did you feel me for days, sweetheart?” he continues, pushing into me further. “I bet your pussy is aching for me now, isn’t it, Holly?” he asks, his lips so dangerously close to my neck. Fuck me. Two seconds ago I hated the man, and now I’m trying to squeeze my thighs together to stop the ache coming from my lady parts. “Too bad you won't find out,” I counter, staying strong. I might want him more than anything, but he is still an ass. “I don’t even need to touch you to find out. It’s written all over your face, Holly.” “Whatever, Sy. Let me go.” “You know I’m right. You’re so fucking turned on right now and so frustrated you’re not going to get any relief,” he teases, telling me what I already know. “There’s always Jesse,” I threaten, trying to get a reaction from him. “Like fuck,” he spits out, pushing his hard cock against me. “You’re not gonna let that fucker touch you. Do you understand me? None of my brothers will taste your pussy. Do you hear me?” His hand runs up my leg, running along my short denim skirt and finding the outside of my panties. A small gasp leaves my lips at his feather-light touch. “This sweet pussy belongs to me. I fucking had it first. Now, it’s mine.” “No, it’s not,” I fight back, but my mind is too busy memorizing each lazy stroke of his finger over my lace panties. “It will be again,” he warns before taking my mouth hard, suppressing me with his tongue. His fingers pull my panties aside, slipping in and dancing over my aching heat. “Shit,” I breathe against his lips, forgetting where I am for a moment. Forgetting we can’t stand each other. “You want relief, Holly?” he asks as my hips start to ride the rhythm of his talented fingers. “Yes, give it to me, Sy,” I plead, feeling myself build with each flick of his finger. “Say please,” he demands, slipping his thick finger inside of me. “Please, Sy,” I cry out as he pumps me harder. “That’s it, girl. Fuck my finger,” he growls. The heat of his voice causes goose bumps to break out on my skin. A wave of impending bliss washes over me, and then my orgasm hits, hard and fast. “Sy,” I hiss, but don’t get anything else out as his tongue is dancing with mine again, muffling my shouts of ecstasy. His taste reminds me of beer, mint, and all things Sy. He latches onto my tongue, sucking it hard into his mouth, sending pleasure and pain rolling through my body. Fuck, this man is dangerous with his bad-boy attitude, his sexy as hell dirty mouth and his ability to take me on the highest of highs in less than a minute. He slows the kiss, lingering for a moment before resting his forehead on mine. This right here is why this man is dangerous: bringing me apart in the middle of the club, and making me forget I hate him. Removing his fingers, he brings them to his mouth and sucks them clean.
