Things start to go wrong as their secret feelings grow stronger for one another. Will Chase fight for what has always been his, or will the MC stand in his way? Review The Capulet's and the Montagues Looking for a new HOT biker book, then Heather Leigh's Burning Desire's is what you're looking for. Burning Desires follows the story of Roxy and Chase and their modern day MC Romeo and Juliet style romance. The story starts off when Roxy and Chase are younger and Roxy is just about to head off to College. The attraction between Roxy and Chase has been obvious to everyone for a long time but being from two different MC's means nothing can ever come of their attraction. After being caught on the back of Chase DeLuca's bike, her brothers best friend, Roxy is given the Capulet and Montagues speech from her father the President of the Condemned Angels MC as to why a relationship between the two is not a good idea and will not happen.. Circumstances have kept the two separated for over 4 years. Roxy has been in College and Chase has become devoted to and become the VP of the Hell's Rebels MC. When they first see each other after so many years apart there is no denying the attraction that was evident all those years ago is still there, but now it is so much stronger. Roxy's current relationship with Jake the Treasurer of her Fathers MC the Condemned Angels, started of great but as time has gone on Jake has changed and she feels anything but safe with him. With Chase back in her life Jake has every reason to be worried that his opportunity to one day become President of the the MC and will do what he needs to do to make sure that he has the blood line to secure his future. But when Roxy's safety is at risk her father put's the one person he has always told her to stay away from in charge of her safety. Chase. I love Roxy, she has no problem letting Chase know how she feels even if he won't man up to the feeling he has for her. She has no problem letting Jake know exactly what she thinks of him when their relationship is over even if he has a problem accepting it and her relationship with her best friend Nicole is as solid as they come. Chase is all Alpha perfection with his unspoken claim on Roxy, even though he wont act on it. He is loyal to his MC and to his friends and family. The relationship between his MC the Hell's Rebels and Roxy's fathers the Condemned Angels MC is important to him and he will make sure there is nothing that will destroy that relationship. The story is told through both Roxy and Chase's POV as well as a few chapters thrown in from Nicole and Jeremy who I personally can't wait to read more from. In only 180 pages Heather has created a story that will leaving you wanting more. Yes this ends with a semi-cliffhanger and I know a lot of people don't like them, personally I don't have an issue with them and I prefer to think of it more of and open ended ending instead of cliffhanger, but never fear you wont have to wait long Ride Hard wont be far away. Giveaway 10 Prize Packs About The Author Deciding to write books was something I had contemplated for a while. A co-worker of mine had gotten me started me on the 50 Shades Trilogy. I had quickly became absorbed! Reading contemporary romance had become a part of me. Little did I know that my daughter was a product of the "50 Shades Baby Boom"! I remember going to my doctor's appointment to find out that we were off to labor and delivery- and I didn't download any new books to my kindle! Talk about bummed out! However, I made up for that when I was home for my maternity leave. I believe we read 40+ books while I was home. I am a full time new mom, and wife. Yes, I do work full time, I am currently doing multiple things, bouncing back after baby, weight watchers, exercising, training for a 5k, reading and writing. So far, I have really enjoyed writing as a hobby. My work book club, "HE" had consumed us (and by us, I mean 2). We were critics of the stories and characters. I then thought to myself, "hmm, I bet I could write stories just like this, and have them turn out like I'd want them to." Well, joking turned into thinking. Thinking turned into brainstorming. Brainstorming lead to opening a word document and letting my mind explore. Growing up I had written short stories with friends, and as extra credit for school. This is probably where it all started... I had turned in one of my short stories without re-reading, or editing it completely. I had my paper returned to me saying the "content was inappropriate." Apparently contemporary romance was frowned upon in English class! Oops! So maybe I was destined to become a writer. I thought to myself that I want to live in this world and make a difference and have a part of me in history after I leave. This is me staying forever young. Here I will post my journey, it's a learning experience for me, so please bear with me. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, recommendations- I welcome them all.
